Mini Skirt Monday #28: Minis on Campus (Part 2)

Man, when was the last time you waited in line to use a telephone? Those days are long gone, and for better or worse, so is the omnipresent mini-skirt. Here's a few images I've scanned and swiped from yearbooks of the early seventies. What really disturbs me is that every one of these girls are about 56 years old by now!

the lady below is actually faculty, not a student (theater dept.)

Yeah... those were the days and I am 56 years old, now. You might have possibly scanned my 1971 senior yearbook. Anyway, great presentation and blog.
    Please sign me,
"the girl that spent w-a-a-a-a-y too much time in the vice-principal's office due to her skirt length in 1971"

  2. I don't know which is worse, the barrettes in her hair or that awful coat.

  3. "Grades reached their paramount of importance for seniors during the fall" is DRIVING ME INSANE! I mean, I guess it's all technically correct, but, really, there just had to be a better way of putting it. As it is, it's the clunkiest clunk to ever clunk in Clunkville.

  4. Frank, it was a high schooler who wrote that.

  5. takes a look back at the mini's beginnings ;)
