Ads #32: Awful Ads

They're naked, have huge furry balls attached to their head, and, judging by their sly expressions, they just had a good round of sex.  He looks like a goofy Frank Zappa, so he should consider himself fortunate.... I only hope they had the good taste to remove the Hear Muffs whilst screwing.  This ad is disgusting, but for some reason I can't look away.

File this, along with Aydes candy, under "unfortunate brand names".  Judging by the films hitting theaters these days, perhaps RETARDEX really is a Hollywood sensation.

This is the worst advertisement in history, hands down.  "So badly burned were they that there was a thick crust of tissue on their faces through which their beards grew", but the Schick Shaver gave them a clean comfortable shave!

  4. This has to be one of your top posts of the month. And top ten of all time.

    Flawless.

Are there blog awards? posties? or something?

This post could be nominated for something like that.

  5. The Hear Muffs is so awful! Do you think the ad had something to do with the word "muffs?"

  7. I dunno why but the Hear Muffs ad made me think of that scene in Spaceballs when the Princess Leia character takes off her hair buns..they're headphones!

  8. You would think with a thick crust of tissue on their faces they would WANT hair to cover their faces! I seriously thought that was Jim Croce in the first ad.

  9. It reminds me of Elliot Gould on the cover of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice.
