Thank you for posting this! Sears and Simpsons were our go to stores in childhood (in Canada, early 80s). So many hours spent looking at those catalogs. Sweet memories. :)
Ahhhhh, polyester pastels; a Sears/Montgomery Wards/Spiegel staple. And coordinantes. It made dressing so mindless.

I'm looking at the cover and am remembering that Cheryl Tiegs was once associated with Sears. My grandmother worked for Sears, so any of our clothes that weren't sewn by her were bought there. *shudder*
As God as my witness, I swear to God I remember this catalog (because my mom bought me the terry & embroidered shirts at the top, I was starting college). If I can find pics of me wearing them, I'll share!And for the record, those men's jumpsuits in the pale blue & yellow--we thought they were just as gay then as they look now. No one I know would've been caught dead in one of those!
