Mini Skirt Monday #134: Minis and Boots (Part II)

It's only been about a year since our last Minis & Boots post, and I must say that post was a winner.   And as hard as it is to follow up on that one, I think it's time we pressed on and dish out another. Enjoy.

  3. The scary thing is that right after this post in my Google Reader list was this post. Talk about spoiling the mood.

    1. Might I recommend removing the People of Wal-Mart from your Reader? It's humanity at its most ugly. It's poverty on display for ridicule, basically a pictorial guide to the underclass and it's just plain depressing.

  4. How about a theme of "Minis and Guns"?

  5. I have been thinking that the cowgirl mini might be a deserving topic for a Mini Skirt Monday post. I realize this might be out of Retrospace's purview, but you can find examples going back at least to the 1940s in Hollywood publicity photos as well as movies--try doing an image search for Eleanor Powell in 1943's "I Dood It". I wonder why the cowgirl theme was a mini pioneer?

  6. My first experience with minis and boots was our neighbor. Red sleeveless mini dress, black hose, white boots. My God, the woman carbonated my hormones. It was embarrassing that when I saw her when I was in my 30s, and had dated a lot of women, she could still make me nervous.
