Vintage Wheels #21: Chicks 'n' Rides

Is there anything cooler than a vintage lady alongside a vintage ride?  That's a rhetorical question, so don't answer.  Just enjoy the view...

I may need some help identifying some of these vehicles.  Please, chime in and add your car-knowledge in a comment.

There's no junk in that trunk.

Possibly the most awesome photograph ever developed.

The Dodge Aspen - Motor Trend's Car of the Year.
Methinks. this car show honey could've used some help in the wardrobe department.  Sadly, the next Aspen babe is no better...

Welcome to Cougar Town

...and a different variety of Cougar Town...

With a pretty lady, even go-karts are cool.

This BMW hood ornament does inhibit your field of view while driving, but it's a small price to pay.

The Ford hood ornament was even more obstructive.  Still, well worth it.

If it gets really foggy, just slow down, drive carefully and take off your pants.

Everything you've been told is wrong.  Money really does buy happiness.

From a more than slightly suggestive Triumph ad

From an Avis car rental ad

From an auto parts ad.  Is it me, or does she look cut and pasted in?

Sure, he looks like Bruce McCulloch from Kids in the Hall, but that's okay; he's got a badass muffler, and the chicks dig it.

Not the least big phallic.

And a few more for The Road....

And what better way to end than with Daisy Dukes and a Chevy Vega?

The End

  1. I think that is a Morris Minor in the photo with the girl doing the half-Tennis-Girl-half-Marilyn-Monroe-Seven-Year-Itch pose.

  4. Actually that's a Mini Cooper. The blue one, 2nd from the top is a Fiat.

  7. The woman in #11 (BMW) and #13 (dry ice) is probably Lillian Muller, Miss Aug 1975 and 1976 Playmate of the Year.
