If you're at the beach next week and see a dude reading one of these books, chances are it's me. I doubt there's too many people out there reading a M*A*S*H Goes to London novel, but you never know.

BTW the cover for these books are tattered, stained and yellowed with age. I spruced them up considerably in Photoshop and found great enjoyment in doing so.... is there something horribly wrong with me?

  1. My wife was a big fan of the M*A*S*H novels. I believe she has read them all. Me, I read the original, saw the movie, loved the TV show, but couldn't get into the host of novels. I was too busy at the time reading Star Trek novels.

  2. Believe it or not, I used to read quality literature on a regular basis - Hawthorne, Steinbeck, etc. Day by day, I have managed to methodically dumb myself down. I figure in a few years I'll be down to reading scratch'n'sniff books.

  3. I've got a few of the M.A.S.H. books, but haven't read them yet. Let me know if it's any good.

  4. Up the Down Staircase is hilarious. Steer clear of Up the Sandbox, though.

  5. Atom Kid- One I was curious about is M*A*S*H Goes to Maine... Maine? Really? Do you have that one?

Propagatrix- Thanks for the info! Now I'm curious about the movie adaptation.

  6. I have a few of the M*A*S*H* novels , but I have not read them . I would prefer to have novels of the TV Show , even though there are none !! Have you ever read , or consider doing a blog on the adult spy novels of the late 1960's - 1970's ?? There were several really good series books !! There was The Baroness by Peter Kenyon , The Coxeman by Troy Conway , Cherry Delight by Glen Chase , and the Lady From L.U.S.T. by Rod Gray . ( There are many others , you can find them on the SPY GUYS AND GALS website .
