Mini Skirt Monday #26: Retro Ads!

I guess you'd kind of expect a girl in a mini skirt in advertising for cool stuff like cars, stereo equipment and booze. However, mini skirts were so prevalent from 1969-1974 that it's hard to find an ad from this period that doesn't have a chick in a short dress.  To illustrate my point, you may recall this denture cream ad from Mini Skirt Monday #6...

So, if you're interested in checking out some odd miniskirts in advertising, read on, my friend.

  1. Cool ads, love how they have the ladies modeling for products that aren't quite old enough for yet. Electric stair chair? Poli-grip?

  2. This is such an amazing collage!

  3. I can only imagine the flack Debbie took in high school with that ad.

    DOME, Debbie. DO ME.

  4. "It's Finntastic!"
    Yes...yes it is.
Great ads from the age of thigh.
    Perhaps a "Tube-top Tuesday"?
I think the tube-top is the greatest invention of the 20th century.I hope it makes a comeback.
