Nothing says Christmas like a
I discovered this gem from the Cheerful Earful blog, so many thanks to the Cheerful Earfulians who shared this Christmas curiosity. Side 1 is actually quite good - very jazzy and hep. Here's one of the best versions of "We Three Kings" I've heard in a long time. Give it a chance- it takes a minute to get peppy, and it's worth the wait. Just imagine yourself cruising in your own Innovari II listeing to these snappy holiday vibes!

That is such a sweet ride! It reminds me of Ark II. Why don't they ever turn out concept cars?
ReplyDeleteThat car is HOT! I didn't know Captian Scarlett had a minivan. Someone please show this to Honda and GM so I don't have to look at any more Elements, HHRs or whatever stupid shoebox cars they're crapping out these days. Swingin' tune too.
ReplyDeleteHah - Atom Kid said Ark II, and I was thinking SPACE:1999!
ReplyDeleteI'd drive it. Actually, I think that design is more aerodynamic than anything we've got on the roads today.
ReplyDeleteAnd whoever painted those faces needs to go back to art school. blech.
It's so retro-futuristic. I'd trade 2 pontiac Aztek's for it!
ReplyDeleteThe Floating Head of Melting Edward James Olmos is FREAKING ME OUT, maaaaaaaaaan!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought the Aztec suvs were ugly. Ugh! I can't tell which end is the front.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the music, well done and jazzy. I really dig that koo-koo piano.

Looks like something a drunk Syd Mead drew up on a bet.
