Trivia Newton-John #16: Poster Giveaway

Drawn at the peak of the CB craze by Chuck Pettigrew and JK Smith, this amazing poster is a collectors item illustrating the colorful CB language of the time. This 24x36 inch full color map is available for purchase.  Contact Chuck for purchasing one for yourself or call him at 678-513-7845.

Chuck is nice enough to offer one for a giveaway on Retrospace, and will ship a FREE poster to the winner.  As usual, the first person to get the answer will be declared the winner, and will also be the proud recipient of a Trivia Newton John Award to place proudly in your blog's sidebar.

So, here's the question:

Below are three trucker movie posters from the 1970s. The titles have been either cropped out or brushed over. Be the first to name at least 2 of the 3 movies correctly, and you're the winner! Good luck!

Update: We have a winner! Erick from Wonderful Wonderblog has answered correctly. Erick can now proudly display the award below, and collect his poster. Great work, Erick!

  1. Six Pack Annie
    Dixie Dynamite
    Truck Stop Women

  2. You are correct! Good job. I will send you an email shortly so you can collect your poster. Congrats!

  3. I thought that last poster might be Truck Stop Women. Back around 1979 it was shown at the University of Maryland. If you dressed up as a truck you got in free. My friends and I did NOT dress as trucks but had a lot of fun looking at the people who did. I remember nothing about the movie...

The student union must have been trying to capitalize on the success of the dress-up Rocky Horror showings.

  4. 10-4 good buddy!

    Thanks for the great contest!
