I got to looking and it appears we haven't had a Miniskirt Monday around a computer theme since 2009. Definitely a topic that is due a revisit. Some of these will be repeats; however, it's been about four years, so perhaps they'll be new again. Enjoy!
Notice the quaint modesty screens on those desks.Looks like the blonde in the Calcomp ad just kicked the damn desk out the window. "Screw this! I'm late for an audition for a Jack Hill movie!"
#12 - I THOUGHT so. These are not computer banks!! These are storage closets. They are just put next to the computer to make your business LOOK impressive.
Actually if you look at #6, #7 and ask yourself what happened to those two cuties, then look at #12 and you will see we caught the driod coming out of his hideout. And it looks like his lamp is up.
#18 - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs "The Reboot" Review - "No longer slaving away in the mines, Doc and the boys have upgraded their lives to become .com mogels. "What can go wrong?" says Dopey. "Everything." says Grumpy. Bashful was not available for comment. This movie gets the poisoned apple award from...ah Apple."
Of course, these miniskirted lovelies are examples of that old truth: Women who look like this don't work where you do. I have a situation like this where I work. 6' blonde with long legs-works in other department.
Mr. Unibrow in #5 thinks he has a chance with the lovely; nope.
I just remembered an SF movie with minis and computers: Colossus: The Forbin Project with Eric Braeden (Victor on "The Young and The Restless") and a younger Susan Clark who rocked a mini with ease.

That thing in #12 - some sort of CRT or radar tube? Who's geeky enough to identify it?
ReplyDeleteThose tape drives must have needed lots of adjustments by young ladies.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just me, but some of those old computers have sexier and more exotic curves than the models!
ReplyDeleteIs that Ringo Starr messing with the control panel of the IBM 360 in #13?
ReplyDeleteOld school computers and leggy ladies, two great tastes that taste great together!
