I think it was back in 2011 when we last covered amateur musicians on a Miniskirt Monday. So, here is a generous helping (to make up for lost time) of band girls in minis culled from yearbooks and newspapers. Enjoy....
1 - Just a note that I number these photos, so that I'll know which photo you're referring to in the comments. The numbers coincide to the picture above it.

18 - I love the go-go boot and mini look; I'll have to do a MM post on that again soon.
19- From an episode of Benny Hill. Just thought I'd throw this in to see if you're paying attention.

48 - to find these MM pictures, you're got to have razor sharp mini detection; otherwise, a background mini can get missed flipping through an old newspaper

58 - It's funny - if you look at my very early MM posts, I'm limiting the # of pictures and making them small, so it won't take so long for the page to load. Now that isn't a consideration at all; a hundred mini pictures full sized just takes a second. My how things have changed in just a few short years!

As usual dorkiness of the boys is inversely proportional to hotness of girls. Isn't that a Tuscadero in that last shot?
ReplyDeletePinky or Leather?
DeleteLeather aka Suzi Quatro. The two ladies at the far left are Suzi's older sisters(Patti and Arlene). Arlene is the mother of Sherilyn Fenn.
Delete#7 - Guns are musical instruments?
ReplyDeleteSure, haven't you ever listened to the 1812 overture?
DeleteMaybe that's the gun club.
DeleteYep, as usual, the flautists are usually the hottest chicks in school band. The high falootin' schools that have orchestras have their cellists though, which up the sexiness factor.
ReplyDeleteFront row seats, please.
ReplyDelete#2 This one time at band camp I met The Monkees before they were famous
