Halloween is all about candy. Eye candy, that is.
Back in the glory days of the pinup, they had no shortage of holiday themed cheesecake custom made for calendars or simply to be carried in a G.I.'s sack. Here, for your viewing pleasure, is a generous supply of old-school Halloween pinups. All feature a pumpkin/jack-o-lantern. Stay tuned: sexy witches are on deck. Enjoy!

An epic collection of cuties, thanks you!
ReplyDeleteI have a long flight coming up soon and need to take the Horshack Redemption along for the ride, get another review out, please!
No finer cheesecake this side of the Cheesecake Factory. Yvonne de Carlo seems to have a look that says, "Next time I'm reading the fine print in the contract."
ReplyDeleteI've found a few Morgan Fairchild Halloween pinups and used them on my blog, so these were being made as late as the 80s. Ann Miller seems to have quite a few floating around. If you read her bio, she believed she was the reincarnation of an Egyptian princess. The series of pinups where she is wearing the striped shirt with the pumpkins are just too cute.
ReplyDeleteThe gals are all cute but those pumpkins are the ugliest I've seen!
ReplyDeleteReading about the actress Theresa Wright(Shadow of a Doubt, Pride of the Yankees) I read that she had this clause put in her contract:
ReplyDelete"The aforementioned Teresa Wright shall not be required to pose for photographs in a bathing suit unless she is in the water. Neither may she be photographed running on the beach with her hair flying in the wind. Nor may she pose in any of the following situations: In shorts, playing with a cocker spaniel; digging in a garden; whipping up a meal; attired in firecrackers and holding skyrockets for the Fourth of July; looking insinuatingly at a turkey for Thanksgiving; wearing a bunny cap with long ears for Easter; twinkling on prop snow in a skiing outfit while a fan blows her scarf; assuming an athletic stance while pretending to hit something with a bow and arrow"
Now I know what she meant!
Barbra Hale of "Petty Mason" fame ?
ReplyDeleteNo we know what Della Street did to put herself through secretarial school.
