THE END
A quick question - your feedback is much appreciated:
I start these posts intending on just having 5 to 10 images, then my obsessive nature kicks in, and it ends up being around 50 images. Are these posts taking a long time to load on your computers, iPads, phones, etc? Should I divide them up into parts 1 and 2, to keep the number of images at a reasonable level? Thanks again.
Thanks for the memories. It loaded quick and normal time.
ReplyDeleteWhite Rain Shampoo. So many cinematic memories...
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with posts of this length. Granted, I use a PC, not a i-phone.
ReplyDelete1970's Spray Brush Fluff Go model is presumably a pre-Partridge Susan Dey...?
ReplyDeleteExactly...
DeleteLoads fine. The last one, pancakes?
ReplyDeleteLast one: 100% pure pancakes. Which reminds me - we're more than due for another pancake post.
DeleteThank you for all your posts. The posts or images are loading fine and fast on my more than slightly older computer using a slow DSL connection.
ReplyDeleteJust curious, model-wise I see Erin Gray, Susan Dey, and Glynnis O'Connell (I may be getting the name wrong. she is in the 1977 Breck ad and was in 'The Boy in the Plastic Bubble'). but are there any other famous faces that I am missing? Thanks, Leslie.
You might have noticed - Erin Gray appears twice (Scatter Perm and Breck)
DeleteLooks like Pete Rose in the Vitalis Dry Control ad.
DeleteDarn, I missed both the Scatter Perm Erin Gray and Pete Rose (and to be honest, with my old eyes, even knowing it was Erin Gray in the Scatter Perm ad it took me a minute to recognize her). Thanks, Leslie.
DeleteIt's Glynnis O'CONNOR...
DeleteThe very first picture looks like Samantha's older sister in Sixteen Candles. You know the one who was marrying an Oily Bo-Hunk?
ReplyDeleteLoad time is fine with me on 100mbps+ cable. Some nights the amount of images seems like it's taking too long to get through them all, like if I need to get to bed or whatever. Otherwise, I appreciate all the stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. The more photos the better. Thanks for all the awesomeness!
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for their feedback. I think it's safe to say the number of photos isn't bogging things down. I agree with Armpit Studios that it can sometimes get excessive, but in terms of loading speed, I'm glad to hear it's not a problem. Thanks again.

ReplyDeletePage loads fine,no hang ups on the images.
I guess in 1971, it made sense to go ice skating in a hat and gloves... And hot pants. Nobody noticed what you wore anyway, as long as your hair looked good!
ReplyDeleteYour images are like what Mark Twain said about good whiskey...too much is barely enough
ReplyDeleteForget the Score Poker Baron and his bevy of Belles...it's the lampshade above them I want!
